Student Placement

Student Placement

We aim to provide post-secondary students with meaningful and inclusive hands-on learning opportunities within our many programs and departments. We offer student placements in both clinical and non-clinical areas.

Clinical placements can include:

  • Clinical social work
  • Occupational therapy
  • Nursing
  • Counselling psychology
  • Child and adolescent psychiatry
  • Medical office assisting
  • Child and youth care

Non-clinical placements can include:

  • Human resources
  • Business intelligence
  • Occupational health and safety
  • Marketing and communications

We are able to accommodate placement requests directly from Student Placement Coordinators on behalf of education institutions. If you are a student at an education institution that does not have a Student Placement Coordinator, please reach out to our Student Placement Team.

Requests from placement coordinators should include the following information:

  • Name and description of the education program
  • Student’s resume
  • Approximate dates of placement and number of hours required
