CASA is a trusted non-profit organization delivering holistic, culturally safe wrap-around mental health services to children ages three to 18 and their families in Alberta. We do this through a team of specialized mental health professionals who are trauma experts committed to delivering outcomes-based programming in collaboration with community partners. CASA’s vision is a community where all children, youth and their families are provided timely mental health care and empowered to thrive.
CASA is currently looking for a recruiter to join our Human Resources Team who will be responsible for supporting the staffing needs from front line workers straight through to directors. This role will require the recruiter to liaise with multiple managers to assess current and future staffing needs and will use this information to develop a recruitment plan for each department/program.
The recruiter will be an integral part of the Human Resource Team and will actively contribute to CASA working towards its five year roadmap. If you want to be part of this innovative team working towards supporting our community and the children in it, we want to hear from you!
Job Description
Reporting to the human resources manager, the recruiter will be responsible for the recruitment intake process and using best practices to identify and fill organization needs. In this role, the recruiter will need to use innovative recruitment tactics to fill, clinical, back office, and leadership roles.

Maintain multiple requisitions and job postings, while ensuring all data is up to date and meets guidelines set out by HSAA.

Drive candidate attraction through direct sourcing and ensuring appropriate posting locations including standard job boards, professional associations and other applicable locations.

Manage full cycle recruitment process from posting and shortlisting through offer letter.

Conduct recruitment meetings to map recruitment activities and establish timelines and action items for all parties involved in recruitment process. This includes individual requisitions, and for recruitment planning for different departments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, or a related field (a diploma may be considered)

A minimum of three to five years of experience in full cycle recruitment

Experience in a health care environment is an asset

Experience in a unionized environment is an asset

RPR Designation is considered an asset

Exceptional communications skills, both verbally and orally
