At CASA Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health, the safety and well-being of our patients, families, and staff are our highest priorities. We are committed to providing the highest quality of care in the safest environment. We participate in numerous quality assurance initiatives and continually strive to learn and improve.

CASA is committed to continuous quality improvement and is an accredited organization through Accreditation Canada.

Accreditation

CASA Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health is committed to providing the best care possible for our children and families. We participate in accreditation to help us ensure that we provide safe and high-quality mental health care. 

 

As a component of continuous quality improvement, accreditation compares what we do with established national standards of excellence to help us identify what we’re doing well and how we can further improve.

Accreditation Canada is Canada’s primary health care accreditor.

Patient Safety

CASA commits to providing a safe and caring environment for all patients, families, and staff. There is a formal reporting process that includes all levels of the organization, from the care team to the Medical Director and Chief Executive Office. All safety incidents or risks such as aggression, injury, or near misses are tracked and reviewed by the Patient Safety Committee. Such reviews are important in order to identify and reduce risk on an ongoing basis. Please ask a member of your child’s care team or contact feedback@casaservices.org if you have any questions.
