Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director, and working in collaboration with the Medical Lead(s), Clinical Lead(s) and other members of the multidisciplinary team, the Program Manager provides leadership in the delivery of high quality care to the infants, preschoolers, and their families engaged in these programs.
The Program Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the programs, ensuring compliance with standards, effective and efficient resource allocation, and timely operational problem-solving and communication.
Responsibilities include supervision of staff providing clinical services; managing budgets; developing and evaluating programs; community development and linkages with stakeholders; implementation and quality improvement; and effective use of resources.
Key functions for this position will include:
Develop and implement approved organizational directives, site and program policies, procedures, guidelines and/or protocols.
Working with teams in continuous improvement and collaborating across CASA programs, staff, psychiatrists as well as external stakeholders to ensure continuity and quality care.
Working in collaboration with senior leadership and psychiatrists to establish procedures and practices that will maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
Fosters community development and partnership and linkages related to program areas.
Collaboratively develop clinical standards and ensure adherence to established clinical standards and guidelines.
Identifying budget requirements for resources, supply and equipment resources; monitoring budget and expenditures.
Manage and nurture current potential talent and competencies to meet program objectives and outcomes.
Conduct regular performance appraisals and learning plans, and addressing performance management in accordance with organizational policies.
Develop, implement and evaluate services and participation in program and evaluation initiatives
Master’s degree in a health care related field such as social work, psychology, nursing, occupational therapy along with 3 years management experience in an addictions and/or mental health care setting.
Must be a member in good standing with their respective regulatory college.
Minimum of 5 years of direct service delivery in the field of mental health.
Experience in infant and preschool mental health is preferred
Must have completed courses in management and leadership.
A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle is required.
Salary: $76,991 - $97,530 depending on education and experience.
