CASA’s Pam Rosie and Sammy Hogan were on Global News Edmonton this morning to talk transition: from school to summer, and what that disruption of routine can mean for kids and youth.
Sammy is the clinical lead for our Adolescent Day Program (ADP), and Pam Rosie is clinical lead at CASA House. They answer: What does this time of year mean for children and teens, particularly in the context of mental health? What signs of anxiety or mental health issues might a parent or caregiver notice during this period of transition? And what advice would they offer to families starting to think about summer, or noticing anxiety in their children or teens?
