FASTRACS Accepting Parenting Group Registrations
CASA’s Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Treatment, Resources and Community Supports Program (FASTRACS) is accepting registrations for a six-week parenting skills group for kids aged 3 to 12 with prenatal alcohol exposure.
Parents and caregivers are able to self-refer. This means you can come directly to CASA and do not have to go through a referring physician!
What is it?
This is a free, short-term resource that includes six weeks of fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) parenting skills training, education, information on community resources and peer support. Facilitators include a parent with more than 20 years of experience, an occupational therapist and an occupational therapy assistant.
What is it not?
FASTRACS does not provide assessment or a diagnosis of FASD.
How do I register?
Download and fill out the FASTRACS referral form and fax it to CASA intake at 780-435-6261.
To register over the phone, contact CASA at 780-400-2271 and ask for FASTRACS.
