Donor Love! Edmonton’s jj wool raises $9,624

CASA Cycle Challenge participants JJ Joyriders rode all five days and raised $9,624 for the Every Child Matters campaign.

The two dedicated fundraisers from jj wool have participated in the Cycle Challenge for several years. This year, they made a quilt and checkerboard from recycled wool and held a raffle for the community donors, drawing a winner at the time they presented their cheque to CASA.

Just to demonstrate how dedicated these hearts of gold are, Jen from jj wool was expecting a new grandbaby the week of the ride. She showed up every day with a smile and her phone nearby, just in case. Her granddaughter was eventually born a few days after the ride!

Congratulations everyone, and thank you to jj wool for your passion and dedication to children’s mental health.
