Pediatric Neurology Consultation

Pediatric neurosciences (nerves, nervous system, brain) evaluates, consults and manages children and adolescents with disorders of the central or peripheral nervous systems.  


The Program

CASA’s Pediatric Neurology Consultation services provides a neurological assessment to identify disorders in major categories such as:

  • Epilepsy and seizures

  • Headaches and migraines

  • Neuromuscular disease (muscles disease and movement disorders)

  • Complex neurobehavioral issues

  • Developmental regression

Inclusion Criteria

  • This is a referral-based service only. It is necessary to be previously seen and assessed by either a family physician who sees children or preferentially a pediatrician.

External Referrals 

  • External referrals must be made by an AHS Psychiatrist.

Referrals can be made by completing the Pediatric Neurology Consultation Form and faxing to CASA at 780-435-6261.
