CASA is a trusted non-profit organization delivering holistic, culturally safe wrap-around mental health services to children ages three to 18 and their families in Alberta. We do this through a team of specialized mental health professionals who are trauma experts committed to delivering outcomes-based programming in collaboration with community partners. CASA’s vision is a community where all children, youth and their families are provided timely mental health care and empowered to thrive.

CASA is currently looking for a seasoned executive assistant to join our corporate team. In this role, the executive assistant will use their expertise to provide pivotal administrative support to the director of people and culture and the director of finance. They will be an integral part of the corporate care team, working together to deliver seamless and high-level service to the senior leadership team.

Job Description

Reporting to the director of people and culture, the executive assistant plays a key role in providing comprehensive administrative support to the corporate operations leadership team. The executive assistant, operations is responsible for delivering a high level of service across a variety of corporate portfolios including human resources, finance, business intelligence, culture, facilities and information technology. The executive assistant:

  • Prepares and distributes agenda packages and meeting minutes, and provides action item management for the Youth and Family Advisory Council and subcommittees, and Occupational Health and Safety Committee.

  • Prepares reports and correspondence as requested.

  • Supports schedule management, books appointments and arranging meetings including procuring meeting rooms, audio/visual equipment and meals/refreshments as required.

  • Maintains a confidential filing system.

  • Contributes to the planning of internal and external events.

  • Manages, prioritizes and redirects information requests as needed.

Minimum Salary: $65,000

Maximum Salary: $80,000

Hours per Shift: 7.75

Shifts per Week: Five

Days Off: Saturday/Sunday
 

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of an office administration program or prior experience in an office setting.

  • Minimum typing speed of 70wpm with 95 per cent accuracy.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Visio.

  • High level of data entry accuracy.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a high volume work environment.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to perform tasks accurately and collaboratively with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential materials and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
