Admin Support II (Floater)

Description

In this position, you will greet and support patient and families as the first point of contact with CASA as well as support the psychiatrists, clinical staff and other program requirements. You will be responsible for confirming or obtaining demographic information and working directly with nurses, program clinical staff and site administration to assist patients with obtaining quality care. This position will require travel to provide administrative coverage at other CASA sites located within Edmonton and Sherwood Park.

 

We are currently seeking an energetic, positive, administrative support II to join our administrative support team of dedicated professionals. 

Duties

  • Creates a welcoming environment through greeting guests, children, adolescents and their families. 

  • Informs therapists and psychiatrists of arrivals and directs the families to the waiting room. 

  • Accurately completes patient check-in, registration and demographic updates.

  • Responds to and transfers incoming calls to appropriate lines or takes accurate telephone messages. 

  • Schedules appointment bookings through the Electronic Medical Record and Webex then confirms appointments.

  • Schedules room bookings and Videoconference equipment.

  • Filing and record maintenance as needed.

  • Preparing Intake Packages

  • Organizing supplies inventory and ordering as needed.

  • Other duties as required

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a Medical Office Assistant and/or Business Administration program required

  • Minimum typing of 50wpm with 95% accuracy

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Microsoft Excel software

  • High level of accuracy with data entry

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent customer service, attention to detail, multi-tasking

  • 2 years related administrative experience in a medical office setting

  • Access to reliable Transportation

  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

 

Salary

$18.45 -$23.07 per hour depending on education and experience
