Bipolar Disorder

The Balanced Mind Foundation – This is a U.S. national, parent-led, web-based, not-for-profit membership organization incorporated in 1999. The Balanced Mind Foundation guides families raising children with mood disorders to the answers, support and stability they seek. FASD

Edmonton and Area Fetal Alcohol Network (EFAN) -  This network focuses on public awareness,  education and training, prevention programs for women in childbearing years, including pregnant women, assessment, diagnosis, management and supports for children and adults. Under the resources tab, there is a 60 page booklet “FASD Strategies Not Solutions” with strategies for dealing with FASD. Government of Alberta FASD Web Site – The government of Alberta has invested nearly $37 million since 2007 for FASD programs and services. These funds support FASD-related initiatives across Alberta, including a FASD Learning Series providing education, about the awareness and prevention, assessment and diagnosis, research and support for individuals living with FASD and their caregivers.
